GEM. Conus monachus, a seldom seen species in the Philippines. This shell has an exceptional color pattern which is almost similar to the specimens collected in the southern tip of the Philippines: the Jolo Island shells. Rare color form, corresponds to the fig. 10 in RKK, from the Solomons, to the Dharma fig. 11 C., the Richards (1989) from Papua.
