MONSTER SIZE WOOOOOW!! SPECIAL BANDED PATTERN!! This is officially the biggest I have ever found in my entire career with 107.3mm . Giant colossal masterpiece. Stunning unique banded pattern all around making a great effect and exquisite piece. Impressive thick massive and heavy lip with really shiny ventral side. I have found this amazing beauty inside a Octopus cave with some other bivalves and only because this shell animal is so big the octopus did not break or mad the classic perforation, this here is complete and superb, Very rare species seldom seen in the market and so hard to obtain in any conditions and more rare at this monster sizes. There are some tiny natural chip in lip after removing the periostracum and there is some kind of freak inner lip inside one of the valves not really detracting the beauty for this seldom seen giant. PSAMMOBIIDAE - Gari maxima (Deshayes, 1855). Found inside an octopus cave between stones with mud about 8-10m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. May 2025. Value for the biggest I have found ever with superb massive thick lip and awesome pattern : 50-60 euro or even more for this rarity. Good luck and happy shelling. MEXICO PACIFIC
