| Note | An inflated, large wonderfully glossed specimen from the southern Sinai population. The shell shows striking extremity black blotching, mild pink toned extremity margins and a thick calloused extremity margins. The shell displays perfect extremity tips, excellent nacre thickness, perfect base and a moderate weight/size ratio (32 grams). The shell was taken at 25-30 meters by Scuba diver north of Hurghada, Egypt in the Gulf of Suez. The shell shows a light growth fold on the posterior ramp, micro stress lines on the posterior extremity base and light subnacre flecks on the anterior ramp. Grade: F+++. |
