The current specimen is a rare exception, being about as close to Gem as is possible for the species. Ultra-rich colour. Resplendent heavy gloss. A first-rate aurantium for the connoisseur. Data: Off Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines; upon coral reef substrate, within coral cave upon reef wall, at night; 20-30 m; dived; 2014. Size: 81.1 mm. Grading: Gem.
