| Note | An EXCEPTIONAL, recently collected specimen – one of the finest of the JES Collection – of this endemic Tasmanian species. Few live-collected specimens have been offered upon the world market, and fewer still of this quality. Pale pink margins, with minimal, nebulous caramel maculae. Hypermature, with distinct dorsal ridging. Definitely for the advanced Cypraeidae specialist requiring a first-rate, live-collected example. Data: D’Entrecasteaux Channel, off North Bruny, Bruny Island, Tasmania, Australia; upon reef substrate, amongst silt, in sponge; 20-25 m; dived; November 2022. Size: * mm. Grading: Gem.
