| Note | Here is a SUPERB EXTRA SMALL example of this highly variable form of friendii from the shallows of Geographe Bay. A soft BLUE background colour is scarcely covered with soft, small brown spots which still allow for the strong BLUE+WHITE pattern to be displayed wonderfully! The super ELONGATED SHAPE of the shell with TWISTED CANALS is a point of difference for this specimen and makes it stand out amongst similar shells. Gem- condition with some very imperfections on the dorsum but otherwise perfect. Live taken on a yellow Neofibularia sponge on the side of a limestone rock at 7m. Off Capel Beach, Geographe Bay, W.A.
