| Note | A nice and giant specimen of Nassarius gayii. This is an interesting Nassarius species which lives buried in sand or mud in protected places. This specimen was collected fresh dead among algae rubble in a beach in northern Chile; there is some little erosion on the apex as it can be seen in the images, but it is in excellent condition and giant for the species. A low initial price for an interesting species from the SE Pacific Ocean. |
