| Note | F+++. This is the rare Cymatium indomelanicum, up till now, officially recorded from Kenya and Mozambique in the literature, and this is the third shell we got from nearby Madagascar.The majority of specimen known is dark brown, even black in coloration, but we know of two white and one gray shell. The varices, independent of the color of the body whorl, are always white and orange-brown.Estimation: grand rarity of the family, very beautiful.
