| Note | SPECIAL DARK COLOR FORM!! Majestic fresh dark brown colors all around with the best sculpture and thick lip. White transparent and orange glossy aperture color with unique extra denticles. Complete and intact seldom seen apex, lip, siphon and rare original operculum. Intact conditions except for the almost lost scar between the pattern otherwise Gem. Do not miss this masterpiece. F+++. These mysterious species are usually buried under the granular sand in the coastal zone, between 1m to 10m deep, but they are usually in areas where there are sea urchins, which is what they like the most. But they are nocturnal and are rarely seen hunting during the day. Some are 1cm under the sand but in extreme cases and growth I have found them up to 30cm under the sand. The incredible bright orange animal with bright colors makes you think they are dangerous. I consider this species to be rare after so many years of searching for them in their territory. They are also solitary, which makes them more difficult to find, especially when they are buried, resting or growing. Found buried and eating a large 15cm sea urchin between rocks about 5m deep.
