Thaisella chocolata - Hard to obtain , (Duclos, 1832)
Size
52 mm
Locality
Caldera, northern Chile
Note
One very nice specimen of Thaisella chocolata. This species is usually collected by fishermen and found with many defects as it lives in rocky areas with strong currents. This specimen is particularly nice, with a nice lip with no chips and a shell with no barnacles. A very low initial price for an interesting muricid froom the SE Pacific.
