| Note | One very nice although rather small specimen of Trochita trochiformis. These snails live on rocks and on the shells of other snail species. They usually have very ugly shells, but the present specimen is very nice, having a nice dorsum with a bit of erosion in the apex but preserving most of its periostracum, and having an almost perfect septum (lip) as can be seen in the images. A low initial price for an interesting and hard to obtain specimen of Trochita trochiformis. |
