| Note | One very nice specimen of the rare and endemic species Scurria plana. This species lives onto rocks and onto the shells of large Fissurella and Chitonidae species and it is endemic of Chile and Peru. This particular specimen has a very plane shell (as it name indicates) and an excellent interior of the shell with no boring marks or damages, and which shows the pattern of rays which is quite characteristic of this species. A very low initial price for an interesting and rare limpet. |
