One very nice and plane specimen of Scurria parasitica. This species lives exclusivelly onto the shells of large Fissurella and Chitonidae species and it is endemic of Perú and Chile. This particular specimen is very selected, it has an excellent interior of the shell with no boring marks or damages, excellent borders and a very good dorsum of the shell (as can be seen in the images) which shows the nice color pattern of alternating rays. Usually these species have either dorsums covered with calcareous algae or very eroded dorsums. A low price for an interesting and uncommon limpet.
