| Note | An outstanding specimen of the very rare and seldom offered WESTERN AUSTRALIAN form of this already rare, deep-water, classic species, rendered rarer still via the presence of a distinct mantle line, delineated in exceptional colours, and with a dense and beautiful dorsal pattern. Spectacular margins, with numerous large, dark caramel maculae, along with partially overlaid bluish antecedents to spectacular aesthetic effect. A rare opportunity for a Zoila connoisseur. Data: Off Esperance, Great Southern Region, Western Australia; upon sand substrate, amongst sponges, upon sponge; 70-80 m; trawled; 1992. Size: 68.3 mm. Grading: Fine+++.
