| Note | Brechites attrahens is the most unusual seashell from the BIVALVIA family. Fantastically beautiful 6-tiered skirt. The shell has attached small stones to the bottom (one of the stones has a metallic sheen), fragments of dead shells and coral. I found this shell at a depth of 2 meters on a sandy bottom. Only the upper part, which resembled a flower, protruded from the sandy bottom. This is the largest and most magnificent Brechites attrahens that I have found on Masirah Island.
