Note | One very nice specimen of the extremelly rare Triphoridae species Monophorus monocelha. This is the only Triphoridae species found in continental Chile, and it was described very recently. They live in communities on sponges but they are very hard to find and they are naturally rare in its habitat. This specimen was collected from shell grit. This is your opportunity to obtain a very hard to obtain endemic species from the southeastern Pacific. |
