| Note | One extremelly large, gargantuan, world record size live-taken specimen of Trochita trochiformis, sadly with a damage done by fishermen. These snails live on rocks and over the shells of other snail species. They usually have very ugly dorsum of the shells, like the specimen presented here, but this specimen is a live-collected, gargantuan giant: it has a perfect septum, which is often broken by the fishermen who only often collect them (they are very difficult to dettach) but it has an obvious damage in the border as can be seen in the images. These giant specimens were collected offshore in a rocky outcrop by a diver. Just 1 Euro for the initial price of this interesting specimen, as it has some damage in its border but it has a perfect septum as can be seen in the images. |
