One excellent very nice specimen of Fissurella peruviana collected fresh dead washed ashore among algae and rubble in a rocky beach. This specimen was lightly cleaned and it has a very nice naturally clean dorsum with a very nice sculpture. The border is in excellent condition too, and the interior shiny and nice. Note that this species is the smallest Fissurella species found in the southeastern Pacific and this is its normal size (they attain maximum about 40 mm in size for giant specimens).
