Exemplary quality – all varices in excellent state of preservation. Balanced proportions. Broad varical structure. Markedly upturned, recurved siphonal canal. Definitely for the Muricidae specialist interested in rare variants, or the admirer of truly exquisite seashells. Data: Off Pointe Noire, Basse-Terre, Guadeloupe, Leeward Islands, Lesser Antilles; upon coarse coral sand substrate; 15 m; diving; 2002. Size: 74.2 mm. Grading: Fine++++; w/o.
