Ultra-clean, with pure white ground, devoid of the substrate discoloration which detracts from many specimens. Beautiful colour: expansive, free-form axial maculations of straw-caramel, in a pattern of high aesthetic merit. The BEST of the best. Data: Golfo de Morrosquillo, off Ciénaga la Caimanera, Sucre, Colombia; upon sand/mud substrate; 30-60 m; trawled; 1992. Size: 64.6 mm. Grading: Gem; w/o.
