Well beyond the "large" size of 120mm, this 150mm+ GIANT is in as good condition as you get for the species with hardly a flaw to be seen. The most amazing feature is that it still exhibits FULL PERIOSTRACUM which is RARELY SEEN! Yes there is still some small growth on the shell near the spire but its a small price to pay for this shell in the NATURAL GLORY! Exceptional F+++/Gem- condition with just some small flaws that this species always has. Collected on reef at 4m on breakwater rock. Off Blairgowrie, Port Phillip Bay, Victoria. 2010 |
