Note | One very nice specimen of the rare southeastern Pacific species Stramonita delessertiana. This species ranges from Ecuador to Chile, but it is very rare in Chile which is in its southernmost geographical distribution. This is a very rare species in the area, and it is surprisingly difficult to obtain. This specimen was collected alive by fishermen (as bycatch) and it displays a very nice sculpture, with a very nice shell. |
