| Note | SPECIAL HYPER GLOSS ORANGE APERTURE WITH UNDULATED LIP UNIQUE FORM!! Excellent intact deep orange and glossy aperture with curved-undulated lip unique form. Yellowish ventral color form and yellow-light purplish-brownish color in the dorsal part, dominant flat places with some little elevated nodules with scales and some light erosion around , the spire is really nice and almost intact, apex complete. F++-F+++. This particular species is always found attached to large stones and apparently feeds more at night. Devourer of marine worms, oysters, chamas, etc.! The body is generally always accompanied and attached by many types of calcareous organisms and algae making them invisible in many cases. You need to have a very good eye to find them, and they are rare. Very rarely do you find good specimens with impressive conditions. Really hard to clean taking hours to get this result, between 2 hours cleaning this beauty. The pictures taken are real and we do our best to make the color look exactly like the original. All colors are fresh in my shells as I collect everything myself and clean it before the auction. Some colors such as the orange color in the aperture may fade over time. But usually the color stays the same for months or years , It depends on how you protect it from sunlight and dust. Found attached between muddy stones about 8m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. July 2025. Value for this seldom seen species with hyper gloss orange aperture and crazy undulated lip: 50-70 euros.
