Note | Outstanding specimen with exceptional features and striking visually. Impressive expansive spreading wings on the moderately large trigonal body are admirable qualities. The sweeping wings/varices exhibit exaggerated flutes and channels, adding to the aesthetic impact. The shell exudes beautiful hazelnut brown, dark brown and light brown standout coloration. Collected in 8-10 meters by Scuba diver on rocks off Busan Harbor, South Korea in 2010. The shell may show minor wear on the varix edges, slightly nicked protoconch with some body whorl micro-pits. There is modest chipping of several varical flutes and mini-chips of the siphonal terminus. Grade: F++/F+++. |
