| Note | Moderately large and heavy specimen taken from the Sea of Cortez. Excellent axial spotting, excellent gloss, notable lavender aperture, dark spiral and moderate axial patching. The specimen features a perfect spire and natural lip. Collected by free diver on sand/rubble substrate at 4-6 meters off Punta Chivato, Baja California, Mexico in 1973. There is present a small growth disruption fold on the mid-ventral body whorl and a mild fold on the mid-dorsal. Grade: F+++. |
