| Note | Superb specimen with strong pattern coloring and excellent morphology. The specimen displays excellent patterning, intense on the ventral and lateral sides, striking violet color toned axial hues on the spire and highly glossed body whorl. Heavy specimen with exceptional coloring for the species (56.1 grams). Collected by diver at 23-25 meters on hard reef between grass and algae off Hospital Point, Guam, Western Pacific. The shell shows a "hoof" mark on the ventral portion of the major spine. Grade: F+++. |
