| Note | Super glossy and eye-catching bright marmalade/sandstone orange tinted prize shell with the wider bicallosa form. The specimen shows a dynamic display of symmetrical and sparse dorsal spotting, a rare elongated spot, with superb and pronounced black/brown radiating/extended lines wrapping the margins. The shell is inflated, semi-deltoidal and shows a moderate size/weight ratio at 20.8 grams. The strong dorsum pigmentation makes this particular specimen a highly admirable collectors specimen. Captured by local fishermen off Balut Island, south Mindanao, Philippines using tangle nets at 200 meters in 2020. Grade: GEM. |
