| Note | Splendid specimen. The shell shows a heavy, mature and, inflated deep nacred dorsum with strong shades of blood/cherry red (86.3 grams). The shell exhibits and incredible thick nacre gloss like blown glass and a deep luscious ruby red base. The shell was collected by compressor diver off Pilas island, Mindanao, Philippines at 5-10 meters in 10/2020. The specimen demonstrates subnacre blisters on the anterior labral lateral wall and smaller assorted blemishes on the extremities. Grade: F+++. |
