Really extended lip fingers in one side of the valves - long perfect and elegant tiny spines between the lip. Amazing fully dark seldom seen pattern. The most fantastic and exquisite dark purple ring around the outer lip, the best of the best for the species. Hard to get so intact and dark conditions. Impressive Museum conditions. Gem. Found buried in sand-mud about 8m deep. Isla Toriz, Melaque, Jalisco, Mexico. August 2025. Value for this Special Purple color form and superb dense brown spotted background : 20-25 euros.
