| Note | F+++/GEM, W/O. Probably one of the rarest for the genus Tropidophora - Mauritius Rodrigues Island endemic species in live taken condition and with its original operculum. This species maybe extinct by now. This is the holy grail for collection of Tropidophora. Few collector has a live collected intact specimen with its original operculum. I collected this specimen at Anse Quitor of Francois Legnat Giant Tortoise and Cave Reserve on 27 Oct 2016. Excellent lip with natural spiny edge. Proto fully intact. Top colour and pattern. A small growth mark on base, else perfect. Ultra rare opportunity for landsnail collector. |
