Immaculate ivory, with no encrustation, nor substrate discoloration. Only collected during the 1980s, and for decades now obtainable only from choice old collections – and almost never like this. Data: Capricorn Channel, Queensland, Australia; upon fine-grained sediment substrate; 80-100 m; trawled; 1983. Size: 95.5 mm. Grading: Gem. Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne. |
