Onustus indicus is a good sized and attractive xenophorid that is practically smooth and has few appendages near the apex. The species lives in shallow waters. The shells are very lightly built so that they can live on the very fine, thin mud bottom, their paradise. Fascinating specimen.
Philippines. Bohol. Nocnocan Island. 10-25 m. 2011.
