NoteThis is a true rare shell. It has been collected by Dr. Raybaudi in the Eighties in shallow water off the east coast of Mauritius. As for the hirundo francisca, to my knowledge the owenii ownii has not beee reported alive in years. This is a live taken specimen, good size for the species. I cannot see flaws. White marks are reflections from the camera. Opportunity to get a nominated species missing in most cypraea collections, even advanced.
