| Note | Here is a SUPER UNIFROM PATTERN example of this rarer species of Marginata. The markings look like they are nearly put on by a printer they are so perfect with feint fawn coloured spots covering the white dorsum. A super low-profile, SLENDER shape to the shell is unusual but adds a point of difference when compared with similar specimens. Gem- with just a very soft line on the dorsum being the only issue that I can see. Live taken in a small hole in the reef next to many sponges and marine life on the side of a large limestone boulder at 24m. 3 Nautical Miles North of Rottnest Island, W.A. May 2025 |
