Rufinistic jeaniana collected from a geodia sponge in 98 metres of water west of Dirk Hartog Island during June 2023. Walkeri is the name Martin Hiscock attributed to the gold or rufinistic form of jeaniana. The shell has good size and excellent colour with a twin tone gold base and warm gold dorsal markings, margins and siphon trim. While the shell has perfect siphons, it has a obvious dorsal growth interruption resulting in a Fine+ grading. Even so it is a very rare shell and good value at this start price as if it was a gem it would be priced around 8,000 euro.
