| Note | Moderately heavy, inflated, humped and thick nacred specimen with a remarkable pattern, perfect beige/eggshell white base and lateral walls. Outstanding maculae-based spotting painted on the soft cream/beige dorsal landscape and light/caffe latte-nude extremity pigmentation. Acceptable weight/size ratio and sparse display of lateral wall spots on the columellar side. Taken by Scuba diver deep at 18-20 meters off Forrest Beach, Geographe Bay, south Western Australia in 12/2004 on a sponge covered granite cave wall. The specimen shows a mini glazed-over inclusion on the posterior ramp and a fully healed and glazed area on the anterior columellar extremity. Grade: F+++. |
