| Note | On offer here is a particularly RARE specimen of ketyana bataviensis due to the unique characteristics associated with BEING a DEEPWATER FORM. These characteristics are its PETITE size at 47.3mm, its pale colour characteristic significantly different to the larger, colourful shallow water populations. Most collectors may not have this variation in their collection. Taken in a lobster (crayfish) pot, N.W. of the Abrolhos Islands at a region known as the BIG BANK. Graded GEM cannot fault. Particularly attractive with the fine pepper dorsal spotting and wonderful flared, mature base. ALL WHITE REFLECTIONS AND DULL AREAS ARE FROM THE CAMERA LIGHTING.
