| Note | F+++ to be prudent, for an old tiny ship at the anterior canal, healed by the animal for a long time and a tiny pearly flaw difficult to see on the labral side, probably dating from the same period as the old tiny ship.
In my point of view, the rarest and the most desirable species of mappa that is rarely proposed. Only a few specimens are found every years and it's very difficult to get.
Collected in May 2022 to the exterior reef, at night, around 50 -55 m deep in a small cavity of the drop off. This heavy specimen is for me slightly rostrate and with a pinkish base and this adds interest to this specimen.
