| Note | One very very nice live-taken specimen of Fissurella latimarginata, a nice species of Fissurellidae with a burgundy dorsum, sometimes with radial patterns. This species lives on or under rocks, and they have sharp borders with either wide or narrow margins. This specimen was carefully cleaned and treated with mineral oil to highlight the very nice dark color of the dorsum, and it is in excellent condition for the species, with minuscule nicks in the posterior end of the border, and with a very nice dorsum with a tiny flaw, as can be seen in the images. I have received several of these cleaned specimens, which I am here offering for cheap. |
