| Note | EXCEPTIONAL HAIR PERIOSTRACUM WOOOOOW!! ARCIDAE - Barbatia cf. reeveana . This tiny bivalves are really attached under the rocks like bats. Seldom seen specimen, I am not sure if this species is exactly the one, it similar than the Barbatia reeveana but with flatted shape and golden brownish periostracum with hair conditions. Natural superb conditions with elegant perio. Gem. Found attached under muddy stone, inside the bay about 6m deep. Isla Toriz, Melaque, Jalisco, Mexico. September 2025.
