| Note | Moderately large, wonderful elongate specimen with sparse body whorl dark brown/sienna banding colors while showing antique white varices. The foliatum has excellent morphology, moderate weight/size ratio (27.8 grams), perfect siphonal canal and aperture lip. The specimen is in remarkable condition after being taken from the intertidal zone. Collected on exposed rocks at minus low tide, at Neah Bay, Makkaw County, Washington in 7/1987. The shell shows minor attrition of the apex and varix edges. Grade: F+++. |
