| Note | Exceptional specimen with deep purple/lavender frondose processes (fronds) and a strong/prominent multicolored axial distribution of distinctive major and minor cords. The symmetry of the varix ornamented erect structures and the spreading of the leading and trailing axial structures is exceptional. The specimen displays a perfect apex spire, aperture lip and siphonal canal. Located and lifted from the side of bolder on a night dive at 6-8 meters off Taiohae Bay, Nuka Hiva, Marquesas by Scuba diver in 2025. The specimen demonstrates minor blemishes on the body whorl and spire. Grade: F+++. |
