| Note | Gorgeous rare specimen with spreading mild lavender and coral/pumpkin orange fluted varices, pinkish apex, strongly corded coral colored body whorl and flawless aperture. The shell shows excellent form, symmetry and balance of varices. The shell was collected on a night dive at 25-28 meters off Orote Cliffs, Guam, north Pacific Ocean in 6/1975. This is a superb specimen for this uncommon species. The shell shows erosion and slight wear of the apex and slight chipping of the siphonal canal and tip. Grade: F++/F+++. |
