| Note | Striking specimen with strong lacunae that visually pop off the dorsum accentuated by a thick gleaming nacre. Heavy for it's size, the specimen features a porcelain white base, wrapping around the thick calloused margins, particularly on the labral side. Perfect anterior and posterior extremities and base. Collected in 2014 by Scuba diver at 20-25 meters while sitting on sponges off Rottnest Island, West Australia. The shell displays subtle and negligible blemishes. Grade: GEM minus. |
