| Note | Luria is a boring Genus to many collectors. As it is the opposite to me, over the time I managed to pull together a nice set of special shells. This controversa was collected 75 years ago. Large and fat with strong callus, very heavy for the species, pretty cappuccino color with few streaks, undamaged gloss after all this time. Special shell. Collected on the reef off Ulupa'u head (crater) on the Mokapu peninsula on the east (winward) side of Oahu. Original label shown. Shadows and white marks are reflections from the camera.
