| Note | A FANTASTIC AND RARE SET. These giant Hexaplex duplex which take the Atlantic niche of the Indo Pacific ramosus, are typical for Senegal. But in each 50 or so shells, one sees a very RED piece. Usually the shells are not good enough for collections, but by sorting out A LOT one gets what you see here: still bad, but acceptable. I here offer a set of 3 small specimens with very different colorations: on the left the classic brown-gray shell, on the right the much rarer but also classic red saxatilis and on top a unique, never seen before, brown-black piece. The brown-black piece is a "to have or not to have" conchological treasure. For Muricologists, a small dream set.
