| Note | MAGNIFICENT GREAT DARK BROWN UNIQUE COLOR FORM!! Excellent seldom seen dark brown dominant color with some spotted bands in the back anterior side. The ventral side shows a bright cream colors between the dark brown background contrast, really amazing.
The shell present an Exquisite and Elegant glossy aperture with light brown-porcelain cream colors. Giant great size for the population and hard to get this big sizes nowadays with Magnificent conditions. Super serrated lip with the best long incredible denticles and undulated form, amazing teeth in all lip. Some light erosion around the spire as usual for this giant sizes and species. F+++. For advancer collectors and lovers of this fantastic Family. One of my Favorite big shells in the pacific with so unique form and sculpture compare with all Tonas species and the biggest of the Maleas species. They are most night active , They are rarely hunting during the day. Hart to find in the day because they are most complete buried. Superb fresh piece!!! Found buried in sand under huge platforms stones about 10m deep. La Calechosa Bahia de Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. October-November 2025.
