NoteExceptionally narrow specimen: lenght is more than double of width. Beautiful large super dark blotch, very extended terminals which seen from the ventral side show shiny opalescence contrasting with the porcelain white base, a feature of some extremely rostrated specimens. Collected in Prony bay under a large stone in 5 mt back in 1995. Very elegant and top quality: pictures do not make full justice to this shell. All white-grey marks and shadows are reflections from the camera. More images available.
