The small Island Malta with its impressive historical patrimonium on the land also harbors a number of endemic snails in the sea like the small and cute Haliotis stomatiaeformis. The large majority of stomatiaeformis in collections have been collected dead. This is a live collected beauty with a better than usual brown exterior: dark blotches on a cream background.
