| Note | Smaller pure marginata marginata with modest rostration, a highly inflated body and excellent but sparse spotting/maculae painted on a primary ivory/cream pigmented dorsum. The specimen shows an excellent nacre gloss, flawless extremities with modest flaring and tuberculation of the margins. The specimen exudes a China-white base and superb marginal spotting. The shell was Scuba diver taken at 35-40 meters while feeding on a sponge nested on a limestone reef off Dangara, Western Australia circa late 90s. The specimen displays shallow and negligible creases on both ramps. Grade: GEM minus. |
